Charles Island Beach Bermuda Is A Protected Nature Reserve

Charles Island Beach is located in the center of Charles Island, three miles south of St. George. Charles Island Beach can only be reached by taking a boat and landing it near the shore. The island is a protected nature reserve so visitors may need special permission before setting sail to Charles Island Beach Bermuda. Permission can be obtained by calling the Department of Conservation Services.

Perfect For Peace, Quiet & Snorkeling

Since the beach is part of a nature reserve, expect there to be zero development and no amenities. However, one can have plenty of peace and quiet and privacy. The shores are rocky and there is some beach vegetation on this small beach. There are no public restrooms available so Charles Island Beach may not be the best location for families for small children. The water is clear enough to make snorkeling quite interesting as there are a variety of tropical fish to see.
